Really????? I haven't installed ANY software, 2D or 3D in Program files since I got my last laptop, which was Win7 Pro. The only time I don't have a choice is with system type files, like Skype, Firefox, Norton Security, etc.

That said, I don't install my 2D and 3D software "on another drive", but have 2 main directories at the C: root. One is 2D Applications, and the other is 3D Applications, and have never had a problem installing to either of those directories.

Am I correct in assuming you had PP11.2 installed outside the Program Files directory, and only PP11.3 is giving you this issue? If so, did it give you a popup of some sort stating it found the PP11.2 installation? Usually when I've installed an update of software, it usually tells me it found it on my hard drive, and usually overwrites what's there.

Sorry I can't give you any advice, because I haven't had this sort of issue, and I hope I don't when I finally get to install the 11.3 update tomorrow.
