I agree with ghostship2, using DoF selectively will add more interest and focus on the scene. The other thing that bothers me is the lack of life in the eyes, there are no highlights to spark interest. A small light source can bring out the sparkles.

Here is an example with a room prop. DOF set so the room is blurred. This image also shows off my other trick for getting life into the eyes. Turn the figure's head away from the camera and then point the eyes back at it so they are looking at you.
