I was concerned about PilotHigh's observation that for him 11.3 was slower. So after installing on my Mojave iMac (6 years old Intel i7-4790K CPU @ 4.0 GHz) I decided to do some comparisons. I used the same La Femme .pz3 in both. The upshot is that on my iMac 11.3 is only a tiny amount slower with FireFly and is actually faster with SuperFly.
That is a FireFly render in 11.2 took 230 seconds and in 11.3 it took 240 seconds. The equivalent SuperFly took 153 seconds in 11.2 and 140 seconds in 11.3.
I did notice that the SuperFly presets have changed so the medium setting in 11.3 takes longer than the 11.2 medium setting; so I made sure both 11.2 and 11.3 had the exact same SuperFly render settings when comparing. Btw, I think the new 11.3 render presets look to be an improvement too, having really good results with the lowest quality preset for previewing which will speed up my workflow.
Just as welcome as the SuperFly speed boost is a particular bug-fix. In 11.2 I used to get certain parts of a superFly render having artifacts, usually specular areas such as fingernails and eyes. This appears to have been resolved in 11.3
Looking forward I really hope Renderosity gives us Mac users some love and embraces Metal and supports our GPUs (internal and external).
In terms of installing 11.3 I decided to keep both on my machine so renamed the Poser 11 folder as Poser 11.2 before installing 11.3.
As has been noted, the 11.2 preferences are not simply deleted and so I was able to rename the "11_202004071811" folder in Library:Application Support: Poser Pro: back to "11" (I actually renamed "11" to "11.3" first so I could go back if necessary - but it hasn't been necessary.
Of course, after installing 11.3 I had to go and re-install EZSkin3 as it lives in the app runtime not one of my external ones. But all in all, so far I would say it's a good and worthwhile update :D
