Subject: Lua updo not playing nicely with GF8

Hi folks! Any chance you can help me get rid of the odd, bluish reside at the front of the Lua Updo prop, on the forehead of GF8? This is in Daz 4.12.0.86. Thanks in advance.

That's odd, and it looks to me you got it a little bigger, but I loaded it on a G8 character and played around, resizing it and all, I'm not getting that effect. I even made G8 invisible and the hair doesn't go past the actual hair shown on the head. Are you playing with the cap of the hair?

I even loaded OOT'S hair shader for iRay, still not getting it.

Sorry mate, wish I can help!

Only Lua Updo I could find is one sold here by 3Dream, it's a V4 prop hair. Did a few phonecalls and had it confirmed that this hair has a huge skullcap, it covers V4's eyebrows at the front.

What you are seeing is Iray's reaction to that skullcap, the render engine has problems when you have two mesh overlapping so close like that, the results are weird tints to render artifacts the further from "world center" the items are.
