after an email to NVIDIA customer service it was suggested that I remove my old 980 card. Card removed, clean installation of studio driver and Poser still renders faster using CPU.
W10, Ryzen 5 1600x, 16Gb,RTX2060Super+GTX980, PP11, 11.3.740
