I like dynamic hair, and I use it, though not as often as prop hair. It's hard to beat if you're actually doing animation, or putting figures in positions that most prop hair isn't designed for. (Upside down, swimming underwater, in zero G, etc.)

I do think it needs some updating. In particular, hair shaders that look good in Superfly. The ones that come with Poser are lame.
