As per title.

Also, do we know if there will be a Poser 12 release for Mac?

The Poser Pro version 11.4 (or whatever is next) for Intel Mac - should already be a work in progress. POSER would be leaving money on the table if they cancelled that now. I am hoping Poser does port over to New Apple chips within 3 years. According to Apple WWDC in 2020 - intel chip based programs will work on the new Macs w Apple Silicon (ASi) at a fair pace, but likely a bit slower than natively. Three years gives plenty of time to build the port and build it well - thou Apple says it provides tools to make porting easy, - and Poser 11.xx or Poser 12 (Intel versions) should continue to work on new ASi Macs for while yet.

3 years seems crazy long to me. I’m an XCode developer myself and expect it would only take days maybe weeks to update, I guess it might depend in part upon what 3rd party libraries are being used but I wouldn’t expect it to be a big job at all. Any timescale might be extended due to waiting for a 3rd party that is relied upon of course.

Now, moving to support Metal would be a bigger job and should also be done (should have been done by SM), but Bondware really need to have Poser updated for AS later this year for when the new AS Macs come out. Mac users have been basly let down by Poser’ development for too long.

Bondware silence only makes me think there won’t be another Mac update, ever.
