I could do it with morphs, but it's way more work than I'd have the patience for. And it doesn't look transmapped to me.

I've only recently downloaded and installed Blender, and know less than nothing about actually animating with it, but I gather hair in Blender is generally done with particles. It seems to have much stronger styling controls than Poser does. I actually like Poser's dynamic hair, and use it, but you kind of have to choose between styling and animation. I like the way the hair flies around when they flip through the air, then falls back into place (more or less).
