I've had some success with 3d printing poser characters among other things. I mainly bought my Prusa printer to print items for my wife's dollhouse, refrig, stove, furniture etc but just got done making a scale 1:12 pool table and needed characters (dolls) to be playing pool. There was a bit of trial and error and I'm cleaning the 'spoil' off the dolls with some fine diamond burrs. Anyway, here's some pics.
