dForce (dynamic) clothes definitely help with the whole under breast problem, so if you use dForce clothing (or convert clothing yourself), it's not an issue. I really like dForce hair too, Linday makes some great cloth sim hair that looks and works great. That is of course if you can use the latest version of DS.

To bad you can't use use G3 or G8, but maybe Genesis and G2 fit your needs better anyway. While I still use Genesis and G2 every now and then (just checked, I used Genesis for a final render a little over a year ago), I like G3 and G8 much better (personal preference, I like the way they bend, their expressions, and the quality of the characters/cloths better (shaders and textures are typically better IMHO). But for more stylized and toon tenders, Genesis and G2 are still great (or if I'm using Carrara). The good thing with the older characters is that DAZ does give away a lot of the older content (or it goes on sale for dirt cheap).
