Never had the problem myself, but Richard Haseltine's summer 2017 script apparently fixes this common dilemma. There's a vast thread on this at the DAZ forum - search "DAZ Studio 4.5 - Fix Duplicate IDs script" with links to the script - a few working, most broken.
