Your renders look good. Finish and post, I think. The clinginess is a design problem. I've been reading through and watching a lot of outfit development tutorials. I don't think the outfits have to do that. I suspect they just end up doing it because the original clothing mesh and maybe the the autofit work together to cause that result. Fixing it takes time.
