You make some good points! I've seen some of that "charge forward" mentality. I suspect a lot of it is the drive to grow their business with limited resources. They're doing a lot now to appeal to the wider 3D market. Not sure it will work. G8 is a huge resource hog! But they're certainly pushing the idea! Seems like Carrara got left behind, but they still sponsor monthly contests. Maybe some day, they'll come back to it. But it's a longshot.
