At one time DAZ was run by an artiest. Now it's run by a business person. They have become more of a hosting company for artists, pushing an application meant to sell you content. Not that there is anything wrong with that just wish it hadn't become their main focus. I mean I have given examples of how much I have spent as DAZ lol. Hell I've even been thinking about getting the morphs for G2 because I can use it to some extent and the morphs would make it more useful. The one thing I love about G1 was humanoid play-doe lol here's an example. Somethings not right but I have yet to put my finger on it.
