I assume that you are using DIM to do the downloading / installing?

If so, go to Settings pulldown. Then pick Advanced Settings.

The window should open on the "Accounts" tab. Switch to the next tab over, "Downloads."

The first option on that tab is "Package Archive." Make sure you have a valid directory here. This is where DIM will download your packages to before they can be installed.
