As far as I can recall, Macs have always been expensive. When I was in college, I couldn't aford to get one even at the student store. They were more expensive than the car I was driving around in at the time. It would be more than ten years before I was able to afford to buy one. Even now, I still like and prefer Macs.I only made the switch over to Windows due to neccessity, and then just decided to stay. I've never used an IPhone and honestly, all I use a phone for is actually making phone calls, and a few texts, so spending hundreds of dollars for a phone would be idiotic to say the least.
