Dson importer is hit or miss with some people who are using poser 12. I do not have any issues with dson importer. but there are a lot of people that have reported they can not use it and if it does work for you at best you can only use dson up to genesis2 base characters . other wise you will get line1 errors trying to import genesis3 or g8 with dson importer. you can try FXB but you may loose your rigging during transfer of the characters.

So the best way I recomend that if you want to make a poser animation work for daz studio .to take these steps.

First. Load m4/v4 into poser. and make your animation using those character mesh. once your happy with the animations export it as a BHV animation and save as a BHV animation preset.

Next open daz studio and load a genesis1 character and then import the BHV animation file you created in poser into daz for the genesis1 character an make your corrections to the feet and hands that will be required when using m4/v4/ animations on genesis characters. once your done now re-save that animation in daz studio as a animated pose preset for genesis1.

Next. open a new scene in daz studio and load a gensis3 or 8 character into the daz scene and then load the genesis1 animated preset you made using the poser animation into genesis 8 .you'll need to make corrections to the arms and legs of about 30 degrees side to side for each limb and then bake and re-save the animationinto the timeline & resave as a genesis8 animated pose preset. .

After you have done all above you will be able to use the animated pose preset over and over for genesis8 or even create a aniblock with it if so desired.

I hope that helps
