Hello,
If you want to save a .DUF scene with a VWD dynamic actor and with the correct materials, you can do:
- modify the color of one texture: white --> black,
- reset the initial color for this texture: black --> white,
- save or resave the scene. The next time you open the scene, the material will be the good one.
There is perhaps another solution if you want to open a VWD scene in batch because the previous solution does not restore the VWD animations in the scene. If you want, I can create a very simple Daz Script which restore the textures and the animation. This script would correspond to the script played by the "Restore Mats and Animations" button in the VWD interface. If you want, I can post this script in the Free Stuff.
I can pass on the script, the method I've found works for essentially everything. Static renders and animations, using the duplicate node it'll follow the animation and replace the material with it being there after closing and re-opening daz.
