Hi ! I often download free / budget DS 'prop' models, rip them to eg OBJ+MTL for use in my Poser and home-design programs.
I'll assume you've un-zipped the pack to a convenient 'WIP' or 'External Library' folder, rather than deep, deep into Poser.
Some multi-format models have a complete Poser folder tree in that DS 'runtime'. If you peep inside and find such, use Poser's 'external library' facility to navigate there and add to appropriate library category: Job done.
If DS 'runtime' only holds a 'texture' folder, peek within as JPGs, PNGs, TGAs, even BMPs may be salvaged for Poser. Note you may need to extract 'Alpha' channel from eg texture PNG to use as transparency map. Free Irfan View is your friend...
Now wander across to the DS data folder, dig around. Are there any OBJs within ? You may import such to Poser via OBJ import dialogue, apply those textures you found. Export textured OBJs with amended names, now complete with MTLs.
If you only find DSF files there, and only DSF / DUF / MAT files in rest of DS pack then, IMHO, you have two options.
I'm told you may be able to export from DS in other Poser-compatible formats such as FBX, but I'd not wish Poser's current FBX import quirks on an enemy... { Shudder... }
