I suggest you check the parameters Y-Phil posted above. I experienced slowdown, textures flashing to black, but no crashes and the issues went away after I changed the AO parameters specifically. Now how long it stays that way, not sure. Persistent crashes should probably be repeated on tbe posersoftware site for the record. Forumposts are unfortunately not considered reporting.

These AO settings are saved within the Poser file, and it's the same for the default one that we can choose by clicking "Set preferred scene"
