I should probably clarify a couple things that might be confusing in my wording ODF. I'll imagine you're not too familiar with the differences between Firefly and Superfly displacement. In Firefly the displacement happens via the polygons being extremely subdivided via triangulation during render, the detail of the displacement dependant on the map resolution.

Superfly on the other hand doesn't do this micropolygonal subdivision, you have to have subdivision active at a level that will accommodate the detail of the maps you're using. So if I were to sculpt and generate detail maps in Zbrush at say 6 levels of subdivision while sculpting I'd have to accommodate with a close level of "live" subdivision in Poser to capture the same level of detail as I'd need for the Superfly render to look right.
