"user friendly"
is such a subjective term in my opinion
i am more interested in power and stability
"Maya" from alias wavefront is not "user friendly"
but its power and stability make it the industry standard
for film animation and effects
the same with softimage3d
and newtek's Lightwave to a lesser extent
the pre-emptive multi tasking, protected memory
and a finder that does not require me to clutter up my screen
with open windows, makes OSX a great leap forward for the mac OS in my opinion.
the old Mac OS was a set of small system resources that
forced software writers to create self contained little mini-operating systems
and build the desired application into them
and then have these competing systems fight to the death/crash
over system resources.
so how about you stick with you older OS systems
and stop asking us forward looking Mac users to" hold off"
until you say its ready :-)
