My brother was in the Navy. He LOVED it. Were you in the navy or merchant marines?

I was in the Navy and retired, and then joined Military Sealift Command after that. Technically, we were merchant marines because we had to have the same licenses and documents. But officially, we were referred to as Civil Service Mariners. I spent 36 years of my life at sea.
