Have you tried the change the compatibility mode of the executable?
Right-click on the exe file and try different settings. It seems to work on my Win10.

For the mats that don't work: I have a few Inked materials from Shana and indeed, a compiled python file is launched, which means: only P11, not P12 (because of the Python version).
But, as an EZSkin user, I've long stopped to use them, and I only use the tattoos bitmaps directly in the material room.
If you need some help with this, I can show you an easy-to-use method.
