In this particular case with the eyebrows, the PhysicalSurface node competes with the PoserSurface node, clicking on Superfly Root on the PoserSurface node will correct the transparency.  Also, the Diffuse_Value should be 0, not 1 as illustrated.  The Specular_Value should also be 0, this applies to the EyeSurface material zone.  Whoever set up the materials didn't bother to double-check the settings.  It took me less than 5 minutes to figure this out.
