Although you didn't mention it, I am assuming you are using either P11 or P12.  In which case, did you hide the default construct first before applying the skysphere?  Otherwise you will need to provide more information on your workflow.

Thank you for your reply and assistance. I'm using P12. How do I hide the default construct? Forgive my slowness on this, I am quite new to poser.
