No, the native Daz Studio figures are set up so that they read the proeprty files installed, regardless of which product installed them and without needing to run an update utility - so no more having to have a CR2 for each morph set, or needing to run an updater. But as the collection of morphs grows, as it has with Genesis 8 Female especially, there is a noticeable impact on loading speed. Making the figures expandable is always a balancing act.
