Do the lips remain a separated part of the UV map or are they now part of "Face"?

Yes, they remain separate. I'm not touching the UVs at this point. That's a whole other can of worms that I'll reserve for a possible future update.

But that reminds me that I was wondering about reducing the number of material zones for the eyes a bit. Maybe pupilLeft, irisLeft and scleraLeft could just become eyeLeft, and similarly for the right eye?
