My take is this: Antonia 1.3 needs to have a finalised geometry and skeleton, most other things can be added or augmented later.

Seems like the right way to go.
My two cents: leave the old stuff in standalone packages. Make them accessible, but make it clear that they are old files for an old version. And that none of it works with Superfly. Except the well made Skinmaps.
