For render settings, it would depend on which render engine you want to use. YOu have the choice of Firefly, which was what you probably used before, or Superfly, which is a new engine that is physically based (it tries to simulate real-world lighting and reflections) and is based on Blender's cycles. (no you don't have to deal with Blender's UI to use it)

Where can I find access to the settings for Superfly? Well, both actually - because I've forgotten Firefly.
