Bondware, if you recall, was a software platform for site and forum based places. IIRC, Rotica used to use the Bondware platform. Then again, it's always been a bit manky, so there's that. Even now, Rendo is a bit... idiosyncratic, to be polite. :D
Website platforms are not even close to full standalone software.
