Thanks, Wolfenshire, but I didn't block anyone. I was the one who was blocked. I'm seeing this message when I look at at a certain user's forum posts. That's sitemail - you must have blocked them there, but currently there is no block for galleries or forums.
I just don't know how it was done. I also don't know why, but I don't really care. Maybe this person went to my website and didn't like my fiction. Whatever. But I'm curious as to how it was done by him/her/them.
I also checked my sitemail to see if I had any messages to or from this user who blocked me. Nada.

Looks like the user ignored you in the forums. There's a little "Ignore User" button at the bottom of every forum message. When you ignore someone, their messages are hidden from you and your messages are hidden from them. This only applies to the forums and are separate from Sitemail blocks.
Note: Staff won't see the "Ignore Users" button (rationale being that staff shouldn't be able to block users), which can be a bit confusing.
@Iauraguo I just discovered that. I had Ann log on and looked at her account and saw the ignore button. So, yeah, a little confusion there, I didn't know they had an ignore button since I'm not seeing the same thing the members are.
But, problem solved, now we know where that message came from.

And, thanks, Wolfenshire, for looking into this.

it could be unintentional too as near edit
Yes, wendyvainity, I thought of that, too, but I really don't mind if anyone blocks/ignores me intentionally anyway. If I really want to see what was written, I can always log out and view the forum. I was just curious as to how it was done. But thanks.

Just today, I received a "spam" comment on one of my images. How can these kinds of users be removed?
The moderators can remove it. Can you post a link to the image?

Oh, how I wish YouTube had an "ignore" function, so I wouldn't get flooded with recommendations for the countless mindless and pointless 5 million view videos that YouTube pushes on people as "trending" (which is the only thing that makes them "trend" in the first place, in a practice that used to be called 'racketeering'). You know - Mr. Beast's multi-million dollar-earning "philanthropic" videos, simply awful pop star music videos, junk science, mainstream news media propaganda, stories about celebrities who mean nothing to me, gamers playing video games and yelling at their screens, and endless media talking heads who are obsessed well beyond the point of mental illness with just one particular individual (a former U.S. President), and so on. One "ignore" feature would instantly eliminate all that pain and social engineering - which is precisely why YouTube refuses to offer it.
Again!!!! and on the same picture !!!!

But do they fixate on the "same image" of the other time?

Wow, this is the first time I've ever seen this. Makes me giddy. As for this particular user, who shall remain nameless, I don't recall ever having any communication with him/her/them, but I'm certainly not offended by the block.
How does one block forum messages from a user? I couldn't find the trick. Thanks.
