One of the very best RAM testers can't be found inside Windows, it remains Memtest, the one from memtest dot org, one that you can put on an USB stick for example and boot with. Free and Open Source.cabled posted at 5:53 PM Tue, 14 March 2023 - #4458459
Dumb question here... How do I diagnose the RAM sticks?Mine turned out to be a bad memory stick, just tracked it down. Given that Redfern's behavior is identical to mine, I'd run some diagnostics.
(Not associated with a potential RAM issue, but I have checked all my drives of errors (none found), ran a defrag on each and I'm currently running a deep virus scan that may take a few more hours.)
And no: I'm not affiliated, I just know this one from the time when 1MB sticks of RAM costed something like 90$
