Wow Thank you English Bob!! I was able to get rid of Ross..finally..plus some other stuff too. Many Thanks!Adblock Plus has a 'block element' feature which works a treat on this waste of my display pixels. Other adblockers will probably have a similar function.
Take care to click on the rectangular area which surrounds all three adverts - it won't be serious if you click on something smaller, but one of the options seemed to encompass the whole page. That struck me as a little too draconian. :)
