Thank you so much you are a savior, it took me two attempts as I missed one line on the first go but it worked second time. I guess you cannot put the Poser 13 content on a different drive in the setup and also check the use existing preferences. Whatever I did with the drive the install program created a Poser 13 content in the usual place on the C drive but then did not populate it.hornet3d posted at 1:16 PM Thu, 13 April 2023 - #4462049

Make a backup before, just to be sure.Which is what I did during set up, I sent it to my M drive. When I launch the Library it has nothing in Poser 13 content , if right click and select show in explorer it points toe the C drive location. There is a screen in Setup where you are prompted to choose your Poser 13 content location.
When that screen pops up, I usually point it to my D drive. Just the top of the drive itself.
That will install the content to D:/Poser 13 Content.
Given that scenario, included content installed from the Library will get installed to D:/Poser 13 Content/Included/Runtime
And Purchased content installed from the library will get installed to D:/Poser 13 Content/Purchases/Runtime
- open up your file explorer
- go to %appdata%\poser\13
- edit LibraryPrefs.xml
- adapt the path accordingly to where it's actually stored, but indeed preferably not on the C driveExample with mine:
Oh and while you're there, check poser.ini, especially the line with CONTENT_INSTALL_RUNTIME = ...
Anyway, thanks to you and after about seven reinstalls I am back working, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your help.
I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
