Yes graininess ... :) for works with shadows it probably will be quiet difficult, some parts came out neat others could be a little better, probably also due the strength depending on the parts. some need to be strong and some smooth, well at least for my style, not a commonly used way. But the balance seems to be good enough, not resulting to look like a screenshot of a game like it happens many times. Some touch of Realismen but still to be be recognized as artwork :)by dots, do you mean the graininess? You can fix that 2 ways. 1 you can increase your pixel samples and/or turn off adaptive sampling. (or decrease the number listed in it) These will increase rendering time. Or you can use the denoiser in the post fx. With this, you might lose some detail on finely textured items, like sand or maybe cloth.
