This is ridiculous. I make multiple test renders per day, almost every day. If your calculations were true, my electric bill would be 3 times more than it is to run everything in the house, including heating and air conditioning. 

I have an i9-10900K with 64GB RAM and ONE RTX-3070. When I render a single 1200 x 1600 V4 in a scene without anything else, using Poser 13's  OptiX High render preset, the fan doesn;t kick in at all. Then I also added some transmapped hair. Even with that, the render took only 45 seconds with no fan kicking in..

I suspect you are using the same render settings that you used for Poser 11 and Poser 12.  Instead, use one of the render presets in Poser 13. Since your graphics card is OptiX Capable, try the OptiX High preset.

And, for the record, when I render in DAZ Studio, the fan runs constantly from start to end of render. Just saying.

Yes Daz Studio is even worse that I am aware of it :) that is a budget killer at least with our prices of energy 37c a kwh a real killer ! you get at a point checking everything that could hit your purse. A major reason why I do not have DS running on my machine, also have no idea how long your computer can stand such a power sucker like DS over time, one day or another it will also kill your machine and hit you with a bill of 2000$ . so if superfly is on the same track like DS, well then sure is not to be considered.
