Have you tried changing screen resolution? (I sometimes use an old competitor of PhotoShop called PhotoStyler to resample graphics that exhibits vaguely similar symptoms at certain resolutions) Beyond that I'm stumped! I won't finish upgrading to WIN-XP, myself for a week or so. hope I don't have a similar problem!
