The particular problems I had with Mimic were alwaays whemn I was using voice tracks that had been sped up or slowed down, or pitch-shifted, which would probably jibe with c1rcle's explanation about noise, since I wasn't exactly in a noise-free environment, and the software I used, did in fact add some distortion and gain.
