So the project has hit a rather large snag in that the mini PC has begun to decide it does not want to play anymore and I am left with a PC that appears to be powered but there is no video output and power is removed from the mouse and keyboard. I suspect the unit is overheating but it has now reached the point I cannot multi task even playing a video on Edge and then opening up another page results in the screen going dark. I have taken system back to day one information and tried using it on minimum spec but the problem is still there. I do not want to abandon this on what might just be down to a faulty unit so I am going to have another go.
Replacement unit is going to be another Geekom unit, as I was more than happy with the build quality, It is a Geekom AS5 with a Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU, 1 TB drive with 32RAM. I will give this a go and see where I go from there, if it fails I might try just one more mini PC before abandoning project but it will not be another Geekom.
I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
