As my first mini PC either had a fault or it could not handle the workload, I think it was the former, I have tried to push the replacement
So I rendered this image using the CPU High preset with all the defaults left as is.
At the same time I had a number of pages open in the browser and I was working in PaintShopPro. The fan quickly speeded up but that was to be expected. Every seemed smooth with the render finishing in just short of 12 minutes.
It is not something I intended to do in the long run as I will use my old machine to render but I wanted to see how this little mini PC would perform and I have to say I am impressed.
I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
