I'm living on the Swiss part of the same Alps, if you're not too far away to the south, and the weather was nice on this side 
Anyway, your picture is really gorgeous 

We live near Bourg-en-Bresse. Here since 2 weeks rain till 13-14 h in the afternoon, after sunshine, but mostly very windy.

It's roughly 130km east of where I live.
And the last time I visited Bourg-en-Bresse: the old part was really, really beautiful (quite "a few" years ago - lol)

Well, theold city is still beautiful, but like every bigger city in France is going down too. We live in the campange, so here is nice. Unfortunatly we move back to the Capitol in 2 weeks. My MIL has Alzheimer , she can not stay allone anymore, so I will take care of her, since I am the only lazy who did not work in the Family LOL. 

Just 8 months ago we moved here from the Jura..in my past live I was probably a Nomad ...lost count how many times we moved the past 15 years. 

Oops... Sorry about the situation. Alzheimer is definitely a bad friend.
