Can I ask what version of MacOS you're running?  Is it prior to MacOS 11 (Big Sur)?

Just for info - I have Mojave (pre-Sur) and Poser 12 does not run on that, so I expect Poser 13 won't either. "Modern" probably covers the latest three MacOS releases.
