Even with Firefly, the shaders need to be optimized for proper rendering.  In your case, the content you are using contains old node arrangements that are no longer relevant or appropriate for the Firefly render engine.  You must understand how the nodes work and reconstruct the shaders to make them behave more efficiently when rendered.
