Previous versions of Poser didn't ask at all. They just did what they were gonna do and you were left with Schrodinger figure. Open it up and find out if there's on OBJ or not. Starting I think in P11 the option to discard the OBJ change was added. In P13 the option of where the OBJ is saved was added.
