Just export your scene from DAz as Collada, then Import in Poser. There might be a slight scaling difference that you need figure to set the correct scaling value. Once imported in Poser you can make the necessary adjustments to your scene and save it.

Thanks but that method doesn't work when I try it. The DAE file just gets dismantled into seemingly random components. I'm currently working towards a possible solution using doors from Carrara. The thing which is different about Carrara is that it preserves the positioning of the widget or gadget or whatever they call that central axis thing in the mesh. Consequently doors imported from Carrara still hinge at the side instead of the middle.
