In this, my guess is that whats messing your eyes up is the feet. Because of the angle they're drawn in, it kinda looks like he's floating. Migh wanna consider doing a cheap drawing of it without it being a silouette, and then using the fill comman to paint it in black after. Me thinks drawing it with minor details will help you get angles right on. Also, consider the lighting of the scene a little more, because from the looks of it, theire's no reason as to why why can't see him. This shows some definite promise, be sure to post it in the galleries when its done man!
