Those are sideburns? I thought they were short hairs. Some women have short hairs cut there as part of their style. A gal who used to work in my office had her hair cut that way. It looked like sideburns, but were actually just short hairs cut to look like it. In this image, they could be lengthened a little bit to make more of a little curl hanging in front of her ear.
