I have no problem with the .exe installer. During the installation process, it asks for verification of the directory it installs to. Click the 'Browse' button and select an alternate directory. I install the files in a temp directory that I've set-up for just this purpose and then, using Windows Explorer, I just drag the drop the files and directories from that to where I want to keep them within my Poser directory set-up. As far as the desk top icons, just dump them into the recycle bin and if you don't want the Program Menu entry, right-click on it and then select Delete.
