Hmm. You must have a different definition for nudity than I do. I just took a quick browse through the Poser gallery and out of the first 50 posts there I counted 38 as non-nudes and 12 as nudes. Of course I did not count head close ups as nudes, even though I could see no clothes, nor skeletons though technically I guess they were naked. You know, Poser is a piece of software that allows artists to create art with the Human body as the center piece hence the name, Poser. It should not surprise folks that some of that art is going to involve nudity. I went to the Art Mart the other day (an art supply store here in town), and I'll easily wager that there were many more books on its' shelves percentage wise on how to draw the Human body, complete with nude illustrations, than what I just found in the gallery here. The same can be said for the St. Louis Art Museum, which greets visitors in its main rotunda with a huge sculpture of a nude male. People have been drawing, molding, carving, sculpting and painting the nude Human figure since time immemorial. Why would that change in the digital era? I will grant you that the Most Viewed is heavily tilted towards nudes. But that is more a comment on the viewers than on the artists now, isn't it? If you want to encourage art sans nudity, vote for what you like, visit non-nude postings, and most importantly comment on and encourage the artists that appeal to you. If I had gone to the gallery hoping to find porn just now, I would have been sorely disappointed. jon
